Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Santa Barbara 2012 route map

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer: Santa Barbara

September 6-7, 2014

Walking from Chase Palm Park to the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club and on to Carpinteria State Beach

The route itself will be clearly marked with directional signage and other markings. This is how you will navigate the route during the event—by following the signs. There is also a route support team called "the Sweep Team," which is available to help you while you are on the road between Quick Stops and Rest Stops.

Overall, the route will take you through some of Santa Barbara’s beautiful neighborhoods, quaint parks, stunning architecture and remarkable history. You’ll finish the route walking through the quiet streets of Carpinteria where you’ll complete the weekend with a Closing Ceremony at Carpinteria State Beach.

Please note: Santa Barbara offers a mix of flat, rolling hills and downhill segments! Training in advance will prepare you for this Event. If you are unsure in how to train for mixed terrain, please contact your Walker Coach today for a Training Program at 323-931-3003!
