For walkers who require overnight accommodations on Friday, May 14 or Saturday, May 15, we have secured a room block with special Avon Walk participant rates:
Friday/Saturday Rate: $199 + tax per night for a single; $199 + tax per night for a double.
You must indicate that you are part of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in order to secure that rate. This is the most convenient hotel to stay at, since it is the Event Eve host hotel.

PARKING AT UMASS:
Day and overnight parking options are available. Parking will be charged at $6/day or $12 for overnight parking.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATON:
The closest T-stop to UMASS is the JFK/UMASS stop on the Red Line. From the T-stop, you can take the UMASS Shuttle to the Ceremony site on Sunday (this is a free service). Please note that the T does not begin service on Saturday morning in time for the Opening Ceremony. If you would like to avoid parking at UMASS consider a taxi service or having a friend drop you off as good alternatives.
Complimentary shuttles to UMASS Boston will run from the Park Plaza, between 4:00am – 6:00am Saturday morning. Buses returning to the Park Plaza on Sunday will depart immediately after the conclusion of the Closing Ceremony.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be returning to the Reebok World Headquarter site this year for our Wellness Village. Reebok has been our National Sponsor since 2006 and we are pleased to continue to offer our participants an opportunity to experience Reebok’s state-of-the-art facility as our camp site.
Reebok is set within forty-two acres of landscaped grounds near the Blue Hills Reservation and is conveniently located off of I-93. Afternoon parking for visitors will be available on Saturday.
THE ROUTE:
Walking from the UMASS to Reebok World Headquarters and Back Again
The walk route to and from UMASS and Wellness Village will consist mostly of sidewalks and city streets. There may be occasions where the route will take you through a city park. The route will not include trail hiking.
The route itself will be clearly marked with directional signage and other markings. This is how you will navigate the route during the event—by following the signs. There is also a route support team called ‘the Sweep Team,’ who are available to help you while you are on the road between Quick Stops and Rest Stops.
Overall, the route will take you through some of Boston’s most beautiful neighborhoods, and is designed to be safe, fun and interesting!
