Lights, camera . . . Avon Walk! That's right, Access Hollywood is talking about the Avon Walk thanks to a great interview with Patrick Dempsey that was taped at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Los Angeles earlier this month. Patrick, our great ally in the fight against breast cancer, was a special guest at the Walk, where he conducted the exclusive interview with Access Hollywood. The interview aired Sept 26-27. In addition to chatting with Access Hollywood, Patrick also joined us on stage during the Avon Walk Closing Ceremony to congratulate the walkers as well as the local breast cancer organizations that received a total of $2.6 million in grants, ensuring the funds raised immediately benefit the community. Dempsey also raffled off the race suit he wore in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January when his race car and suit carried the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer logo. In saluting the doctors and scientists, Dempsey commented that "I am so proud to support the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer here in Los Angeles." He continued, "it's really extraordinary that thousands of walkers come together and put so much physical and mental effort into a single cause."
