Step By Step

The Avon Walk weekend is two unforgettable days of passion, power and pure fun. Here’s a glimpse of how it all shapes up — from before you take your first step to the moment you cross the finish line. Ready? Set? Go for it.

  • GET PREPARED with our proven training and fundraising programs and volunteer-led Training Walks
  • START OUT INSPIRED at the uplifting Opening Ceremony
  • WALK up to 26.2 miles on Day 1 and 13.1 miles on Day 2
  • BE SUPPORTED with regular rest stops and help from our amazing Volunteers
  • EAT WELL throughout the entire event with great snacks and hearty meals
  • SLEEP COMFORTABLY at Wellness Village, your home away from home for the weekend
  • CONNECT WITH OTHERS who share your passion to end breast cancer
  • GET IN THE SPIRIT with fun outfits, from wigs and tiaras to feather boas — anything goes
  • RAISE IMPORTANT FUNDS to promote research and help low-income and underinsured patients
